FinalTake for developers

Drive FinalTake from Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT. API & MCP access is on the Creator plan and up; the server is https://www.finaltake.ai/api/mcp.

Connect

Claude Desktop

  1. Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Paste https://www.finaltake.ai/api/mcp as the URL and click Add.
  3. Click Connect and approve FinalTake in the browser window.

Claude Code

  1. Run the command above.
  2. Inside Claude Code, run /mcp, choose finaltake and sign in.

  1. Save this as .cursor/mcp.json in your project (or ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project).
  2. Open Cursor’s MCP settings and click Connect next to finaltake.

ChatGPT

  1. Settings → Security and login → turn on Developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education, on the web).
  2. Open chatgpt.com/plugins, press the plus button and create an app for a remote MCP server.
  3. Enter https://www.finaltake.ai/api/mcp, choose OAuth, then sign in to FinalTake.

How sign-in works

  1. Your client finds our sign-in details at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.
  2. It registers itself automatically — there is no client ID or key to copy.
  3. You approve access on a FinalTake page, using PKCE for the exchange.
  4. The client gets a one-hour access token and refreshes it for 30 days.
